You'll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately 2-3 days per week in the office with the remainder being from the comfort of your own home. However, during your probation and training, we may request more office presence to ensure you feel fully supported and equipped for success.
Your responsibilities...

* Variance Investigation: Investigate variances in estate/block income and liaise with stakeholders on significant discrepancies.
* Financial Reporting: Handle month-end accruals and prepayments.
* Customer Communication: Ensure all service charges are communicated clearly and transparently to residents.
* Cost Review and Adjustments: Work with other teams to review costs, calculate year-end adjustments, collaborate with auditors, update tenant accounts, and mail information to residents.
* Scheme Management: Manage a portfolio of schemes, regularly visit them, and assist residents with service charge queries.
* Support and Collaboration: Support Neighbourhood Coordinators with service charge queries and work collaboratively with Housing Teams, Charge Management Teams, Estate Teams, and Home Ownership Teams to deliver a customer-focused service.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with service charge legislation and best practices.
* Ongoing Learning: Stay up-to-date with service charge developments and ensure charges are affordable, represent value for money, and accurately reflect scheme composition.
* New Schemes: Assist the Development Teams in setting appropriate service charges for new schemes.
Our ideal candidate...
* Legislative Knowledge: Strong understanding of rent and service charge legislation.
