The Role
We are looking to recruit a Clinical Secretary to join the Surgical & Critical Care ward at University Hospital Hairmyres.
The Clinical Secretary will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently.
The Clinical Secretary will also work in accordance with standard operating procedures

What we'll need you to bring
8. SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus experience in healthcare administration or experience in a secretarial role
9. Understanding of medical terminology
10. Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
11. Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues.
12. Excellent organisational skills
13. Evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems
14. Audio typing skills
It would be goo if you also had:
15. Medical Terminology Qualification
16. Secretarial & administration experience
17. NHS experience
18. Working knowledge of Trakcare, Clinical Portal and RIS (radiology)
19. Knowledge and experience of Trakcare and Winscribe office packages
