Hours and Salary: £31,067 - £33,366 full time equivalent. Part time and full time applications considered. This role is term time only.

About our School/the role:
The Willows is a ‘Can do’ School, providing an amazing environment for learning and skill development. We cater to pupils aged 7 to 19 with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs such as speech and language difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional and behavioral challenges.
About the Trust:
Nexus Multi Academy Trust is an award-winning Multi Academy Trust founded in 2016, encompassing 17 unique SEND and mainstream academies. We are committed to a personalized child-centered approach and strive for excellence in our educational practices.
Role Responsibilities:
1. A keen interest in the outdoors and a vision for developing outdoor areas.
2. Previous experience working with groups of children, preferably with SEND.
3. Knowledge of horticulture and garden maintenance experience (e.g., using tools and machinery).
4. Ability to manage workload, accommodating seasonal changes and assessment of pupils.
5. Interest in biodiversity and wildlife.
6. Ability to work as part of a team and cover lessons as needed.

This position requires a HLTA qualification or relevant experience with a view to completing the HLTA qualification as part of the appointment.
