The Role
As a Remediation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and contributing to the continued growth of the department. Key responsibilities include:
* Performing customer-facing remediation and plumbing tasks, addressing Legionella remedials based on internal and external reports.
* Installing new hot water cylinders in compliance with G3 regulations.
* Identifying opportunities for upselling additional services, including Legionella Management Plans, Monthly Monitoring Programmes, Staff Training, and Remediation Services.
* Adhering to all company policies, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure health, safety, and welfare.
* Assisting in the training and development of junior team members.
* Supporting quality control processes to maintain the company’s high standards.
* Completing all necessary documentation to meet legislative and financial requirements.
About You
To excel in this role, you will have the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
* A full, valid UK driving licence.
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths, at grade C or above.
* At least 2 years of experience in plumbing or Legionella-related work.
* Relevant plumbing qualifications, including G3 Vented & Unvented and Water Regulations.
* Proficiency in IT and report writing.
* Strong knowledge of Health and Safety practices related to Legionella work.
* Enthusiasm, ambition, and a desire to develop yourself and your team.
* A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
* A flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
