Lincoln Accident and Emergency Department already employs an amazing team of dedicated Registered Nurses, Paramedics, Healthcare Support Workers, Porters, Reception staff, and Housekeepers. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join our team at Band 6 level.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a candidate that has a wealth of experience at Band 5 level, who has passion, focus, and the drive to deliver high-quality care whilst working in a busy environment. We need you to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have the ability to motivate yourself and others to manage the workload, adapting to rapidly changing situations.
You will be expected to have the confidence to competently challenge practice and behaviors to promote excellent care, adhering to current policies and procedures, and encourage others to do the same. You will lead by example and support junior colleagues to provide safe, patient-focused care in line with ULH Trust values.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory pediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city, and with the opening of the medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence of significant teaching commitment. From now on, it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organizations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

* Active Registrant on NMC/ HCPC register.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Evidence of continuing education & professional development.
* Appropriate mentor qualification or equivalent teaching qualification.
Desirable
* Degree in a related subject.
* Evidence of working in Urgent and Emergency care.
* ALS.
* EPALS.
