Weâre looking for a resilient and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our People Team. Our focus is on providing tailored advisory support to Auto Trader and delivering an amazing employee experience at all stages of an employeeâs Auto Trader adventure. The Senior Advisor will play a key role in managing complex Employee Relations (ER) cases from start to resolution. Youâll have the opportunity to build trusted relationships within the business and play a key role in providing guidance to our People Managers to help enhance our employee experience. This includes designing and delivering ER based training for our manager community. Another key part of the role is acting as a point of escalation for our People Advisors. This will enable you to use your technical expertise to guide, mentor and help develop more junior members of the team. Youâll also have the opportunity to take on relevant project work to drive continuous improvement to our processes within the team and the wider employee lifecycle at Auto Trader. What we're looking for Previous experience operating at a Senior HR Advisory level, within a commercial environment. Experience in leading complex employee relations (ER) cases from start to close and taking ownership of implementing any recommendations if relevant. Proven experience in coaching and mentoring People Advisors, particularly in the area of Employee Relations Experience in varying the employment contract through meaningful consultation Experience in supporting with family leave, such as maternity, adoption, paternity and shared parental leave (ShPL) and strong knowledge of the legal framework and statutory requirements related to this Experience in advising on complex employee wellbeing and mental health cases. Awareness of neurodiversity in the workplace and how an employer can support where required. A flexible and collaborative approach with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines with short notice. A solid understanding of employment law and the application of such laws in a commercial environment. Confidence in delivering people management training to groups of people and supporting with adapting or evolving this training as necessary. Though not essential for this role, it would be a plus if you had any exposure to any of the below: Experience in advising on and supporting with complex neurodiversity cases. A mental health first aid qualification would be beneficial. Experience in some form of organisation restructures. Experience working with a shared mailbox.
