We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to join the Respiratory Targeted Lung Health Check Team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. You will play a part in supporting the Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) and in liaising between clinical, managerial and Admin and Clerical (A&C) staff.
This is a key role in supporting the delivery of services to cancer patients in line with national guidelines and targets.
You will learn about the role of the MDT and cover duties such as patient tracking and as needed cover the coordinating of MDT meetings.

Knowledge and experience
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Ability to present data in a user-friendly format, including presentations at meetings
* Sound understanding and observance of the principles of good data management, including legal responsibilities for data protection
* Planning and organisational skills, including excellent time management
* Ability to take accurate minutes at meetings
* Evidence of good communications skills with colleagues at all levels.
* Experience of CWT co-ordinator role
* Good working knowledge of Hospital systems eg IHCS, Infoflex, CRIS, Cyberlab
* Good understanding of medical terminology
* Knowledge of Data Protection Act

* Proven ability to prioritise work effectively and to manage deadlines

Qualifications and training
* Educated to ‘GCSE’ level standard (5 grade C or above), or with equivalent relevant experience and skills
* Ability to touch type
* NVQ 3 in management or equivalent level of experience
* Typing to RSA II/OCR II or equivalent level of speed and accuracy (40wpm)
* Medical terminology qualification or equivalent to level 3
* Audio typing qualification or equivalent to level 3
