About the Opportunity:
In order to support the growth of the Nuclear Assurance, Technology and Regulation business, Jacobs is seeking a skilled and experienced Nuclear Engineer to be based in our Bristol MoD Project Office.
As a Nuclear Engineer you will be working within an established yet growing team operating within Jacobs Consultancy & Defence Integrator Solutions Business, supporting the Ministry of Defence in the Nuclear Submarine Programme.
Role Responsibilities:
1. To provide authoritative advice to MoD in support of their internal governance processes
2. To act as a Subject Matter Expert in relevant technical areas, providing technical advice to MoD
3. Representing Jacobs at external project and technical meetings with MoD and their contractors
4. Representing the Bristol - Jacobs team at internal project, technical and safety meetings
5. Identifying commercial opportunities for Jacobs and ensuring that appropriate follow-up actions are taken
6. Maintaining and upholding Jacobs culture, codes of conduct and safety standards
