Area Sales Manager Merchant (m/f/d) South West UK (covering areas: TR, PL, EX, TQ, TA, DT, BH, BS, BA,SN, SP) As an Area Sales Manager (Merchant Sales) you will create and develop sales in line with the planned targets for Viessmann UK. The role will be to drive and develop sales opportunities within the merchant and wholesale sales channel whilst maintaining and growing our existing customers across the Carrier RLC portfolio of products (creating the sales push). Field based and reporting to the Head of Merchant Sales, the role will work in a cross functional and collaborative way with the existing Residential Gas, Renewables, Key Accounts and Commercial sales teams providing support to grow our share across all sales channels. As a Area Sales Manager (ASM), you'll be responsible for: Promote Carrier RLC products and drive sales growth. Develop and maintain customer relationships. Gather market insights and track competitors. Train branch staff and support trade events. Maintain contact with active merchants across all postcodes. Maintain CRM and reporting. To be successful in this role, you should have: Proven sales experience in the heating or heat pump sector. Strong technical understanding of heating systems and related products. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A proactive, results-driven attitude with solid commercial awareness. Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
