A two-form primary school in Kensington is currently looking to appoint an experienced HLTA on a fixed-term contract beginning in January 2025, with a view to extending for the academic year and possibly leading to a permanent position.
The role involves providing temporary cover for PPA sessions and staff absences across both KS1 and KS2, so experience working in both key stages would be advantageous. Rated GOOD by Ofsted, the school has an excellent reputation within the local community, with a welcoming culture built on its own distinctive values and vision. The ideal candidate should be able to embody these values in their teaching practice. Additionally, the school has a higher-than-average proportion of disadvantaged pupils, making experience with SEN particularly valuable for this role.
This position would suit a qualified HLTA (or equivalent) or perhaps an Early Career Teacher eager to gain broader experience in the primary phases before stepping into a full classroom role.
