Rate: £425 - £475 per day (outside IR35)
Duration: 4 months (Mon-Fri, 10 hour days)

Turner Lovell are recruiting a site based Resident Engineer to support the completion of the enabling works package for a large energy facility being built in East Anglia. Our client is an international engineering and construction firm, with a wide range of projects throughout the UK and Europe.
In this role, you will support the Site Manager in working with the site team to deliver the final stages of the enabling works: checking ITP's, Temporary Works Coordination, HSG47, and collating all relevant documentation.
This role will suit someone with extensive civil construction and ground works experience on large projects with the ability and confidence to work independently developing, monitoring, and checking Inspection Test Plans and other QA/QC standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Ensure subcontractors are adhering to specifications, designs, and RAMS. Providing Resident Engineer advice to the project, in the finishing stages.
Review the performance and progress of the project to ensure timely and quality compliance & completion through onsite inspection and any verification measures.
Identify and coordinate interface works in line with designs, implementations and the programme.
Working with the site team to offer technical solutions for Contractors TQ's regarding the scopes of work.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience on UK civil projects
HND, Degree or equivalent Civil Engineering qualification
Experience working on civil scopes of work >£10m - ideally on HV Substations, Energy projects
Track record in upholding quality standards in civil construction practices.
Tickets required: CSCS, TWC & HSG47
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with clients, subcontractors, and project leadership teams.
