The Trade Mark Team, consisting of 14 solicitors, Trade Mark attorneys, paralegals and support staff, based in London, Birmingham and Manchester is part of the wider Intellectual Property team and acts both nationally and globally for some of the world’s best-known brands.

The Role
As a paralegal in the Trade Mark team you will need to have a high level of accuracy and be able to work to numerous strict daily deadlines. You will also need to be able to help in the day-to-day running of the Trade Mark department. The duties of this role shall include but be limited to:
1. File and prosecute Trade Mark and Design applications worldwide, register securities and assignments worldwide.
2. Monitor, file and action e-mails in the Trade Marks inbox and field all incoming queries from around the world where necessary.
3. Assist with general support duties for the wider paralegal team and our solicitors and trade mark attorneys.
4. Prepare cost estimates for Trade Mark and Design applications worldwide.
5. Assist with monthly billing and billing queries.
Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with prior Trade Mark and Design experience if possible. General knowledge of the Trade Mark and Design registration process would be an advantage.

* Excellent written, numeracy and oral communication skills.
