LV=GI has a new opportunity for a Principal Pricing Analyst based in Birmingham, Bournemouth, Leeds, or London.
You will collaborate with the Pricing and Data Science teams to develop best practices, deliver analyses, and influence project requirements. Building relationships across teams involved in Pricing end-to-end delivery is essential.
Participate in the Global P&C Academy, enhancing skills in underwriting, risk engineering, pricing, and claims management, with support for actuarial qualifications through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
Enjoy continuous learning opportunities, including free access to DataCamp, Databricks Academy, LinkedIn Learning, and participation in Lunch and Learn sessions, Data Science Forum, and analyst forums.
Salary Information
Circa £70,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and location. Salary is part of the total rewards package.
About You
Responsibilities include developing automated claims projection processes, coordinating forecasts, ensuring models reflect risk views, and adhering to governance standards.
* Extensive pricing or reserving experience.
* Knowledge of actuarial methods, software, and insurance pricing.
* Understanding of modeling techniques like GLMs and GBMs.
* Knowledge of regulatory environment and software such as Radar and Emblem.
* Proficiency in Excel and project management skills.
* Ability to share knowledge and upskill teams.
Preferred skills include data science experience, SAS/SQL, Python, and familiarity with Agile processes.
