You will assist in the delivery of engaging and innovative teaching within the classroom, on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. Working with the teacher, you will assist with the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies to ensure provisions support individual learning needs. Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant (LSA): Support students individually or in small groups, focusing on their specific educational needs. Assist the class teacher in implementing lesson plans and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere. Foster the development of students' social, emotional and academic skills. Provide support for students with additional needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Encourage active participation in learning and promote positive behaviour. Help prepare classroom resources and materials to enhance learning activities. Job Requirements: Experience in working as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or similar role. Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their educational journey. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A passion for helping students achieve their full potential. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Have an updated CV ( with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps ) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
