The Opportunity We are now recruiting for an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer at our Head Office reporting directly to the E&M Manager. In this fantastic opportunity you’ll be completing a range of key engineering support, improvement, change and regulatory compliance responsibilities at sites around our expanding business in the gas, power, chemical and fuel industries in a direction to energy transition. The EC&I Engineer is a key role for the safe, reliable and compliant operations, through effective delivery of all Electrical and Control & Instrumentation systems and associated equipment across stipulated px operated sites within both UK and Europe. Effectively ensuring compliance, safety, integrity, reliability and commercial considerations. Ideally, you’ll be based in the north-east/Yorkshire region and are happy to travel, with around 80% of your time at sites around the UK. You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence. Minimum Requirements: Have an advanced technical apprenticeship in electrical and/or instrumentation engineering OR be degree qualified in a relevant discipline. Have experience with developing, implementing and evaluating systems, upgrades, improvements and modifications. Have demonstratable experience of successful contribution in a 24/7 industrial environment in which, COMAH experience is preferred. Have practical experience of Functional Safety, Cyber Security, DSEAR and Electrical Power Systems Management.
