Position : Childrens Residential Support Worker and Senior Residential Support Worker Location : Wellingborough Salary : £24,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) £55 per sleep-in shift (approximately 8 per month) Hours : Full-Time, 40 hours per week Contract : Permanent About the Role: We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join a childrens residential home that provides therapeutic care to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children, helping them to overcome challenges and thrive in a supportive environment. Working within a close-knit team, you will provide direct care and support to children aged 8-18 with EBD, encouraging positive behaviours, assisting with day-to-day activities, and promoting their overall wellbeing. The role involves working shifts, including some long days and sleep-in shifts, with opportunities for overtime. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care and support for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties Promote the safeguarding and welfare of the children Help the children with day-to-day tasks, education, and activities Build positive relationships and act as a role model for the children Work as part of a team to ensure a nurturing and structured environment Participate in sleep-in shifts (paid at £55 per sleep) Assist in implementing care plans and therapeutic approaches What We're Looking For: We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children.
