We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking department. Whether your specialism is Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, or Systems and Control, we welcome applicants who can deliver engaging, practical, and purposeful lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and KS5 if applicable).
Duties as a Design Technology Teacher:
* Delivering a broad and balanced DT curriculum that develops hands-on skills and problem-solving.
* Inspiring students to explore design principles, material use, and technological innovation.
* Maintaining high standards of health and safety in the workshop and classroom.
* Supporting exam classes with project work and coursework preparation.
* Contributing to extra-curricular clubs, competitions, and STEM initiatives.
Ideal Design Technology Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A passion for Design &; Technology and creative education.
* Strong subject knowledge in one or more DT disciplines.
* The ability to motivate and support learners of all abilities as a Design Technology Teacher.
* A commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
