Head of Operations We’re looking for a conductor to join our London team and orchestrate our people, processes and performance. Full-time · London If Something™ were an orchestra, you’d be the conductor – guiding our day-to-day delivery to ensure every thing happens on time and in tune, while providing the team the support they need to perform at their best, while having fun along the way. As the Head of Operations role you will be a linchpin of Something™ – maintaining a bird’s-eye view of what’s happening across the business at all times, as well as possessing an in-depth understanding of the processes and people within it. Building on the strong foundations we’ve created, you’ll be the person in charge of scaling the impact of our business model. You’ll pragmatically optimise our processes to improve our performance, while developing our internal team and external collaborators – understanding each person’s skill set and how they work best and identifying where each person can best add value. As a key member of the leadership group, you’ll provide direction, insights, support and decision-making within our end-to-end offering. You’ll formulate plans to ensure we reach our goals together and lead the team as the designated source of knowledge for everything related to how we deliver. We're looking for you to Collaborate with the leadership team to develop performance goals and short-to-long-term operational plans to ensure we deliver against them. Communicate, implement, champion, review and optimise internal processes that align with our business objectives and maximise day-to-day output. Empower the team by setting direction, inspiring, educating and empowering everyone to think and act the Something™ way – ensuring they connect with the business vision and are motivated to produce impactful work. Recruit, train, develop and retain the right people in the right roles to help drive a rewarding culture and the highest quality of delivery. Oversee the full lifecycle of projects. From initial brief to final delivery including internal resource management, external suppliers and financials to ensure all projects are delivered on budget, to deadline and against KPIs. Report on day-to-day operations and performance against business goals and targets via retrospectives, regular reports and actionable insights.
