This role is ideal for someone with expertise in property and affairs matters. The Role:As a Court of Protection Solicitor, you'll play a key role in the development and delivery of our Court of Protection and Private Client services. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing Property and Affairs Deputyships for clients with serious injuries, working closely with their families and support networks.
2. Supporting clients with Trust management, tax matters, and the preparation of accounts.
3. Drafting Personal Injury Trusts, Statutory Wills, and other Court of Protection applications.
4. Working in partnership with the Head of Department to provide litigation support and gradually building your own caseload, including potential contentious work.
5. Visiting clients in hospitals, their homes, and care facilities to offer legal advice and build strong relationships.
6. Making and monitoring payments for clients, forecasting future expenditure, and setting budgets tailored to individual needs.
7. Providing ongoing support for lifestyle management and personal requirements, always maintaining high client care standards.
