Legal Secretary – Conveyancing

Our client, a respected law firm, is searching to add an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support a high-performing conveyancing team in delivering exceptional client service.
The Role
As a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will be a key member of the property team, providing essential support to solicitors and assisting with the management of conveyancing files from instruction to completion. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of conveyancing procedures and thrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing, formatting, and managing legal documents, including transfer deeds, contracts, and completion statements.
* Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other third parties to progress transactions and keep all parties updated.
* Conducting title searches, handling Land Registry applications, and managing post-completion tasks.
* Managing solicitor diaries, scheduling meetings, and organising necessary documents for appointments.
* Maintaining and updating client files and ensuring all records are compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
* Experience as a legal secretary, within a conveyancing or property team.
* Experience using LMS.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client and third-party liaison.
* Proficient in legal management software and MS Office Suite, Land Web and LAMS.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
