Trade counter assistant

We are actively recruiting for a Sales Assistant to work on the trades counter for our client who are a plumbing and heating merchant based in Littleport. They are looking for someone with an understanding of the plumbing and heating sector.


This position is a permanent position working Monday to Friday as well as 4 hours every other Saturday, but you will be given TOIL for these hours. They would be looking for someone to start as soon as possible.


Typical duties would include:

* Supporting customers with any questions regarding the product range.
* Ensuring overall cleanliness of the store to meet company standards.
* Moving stock from the stores into the showrooms.
* Booking out any tickets and ensuring orders are ready for collection.


The successful candidate:

* Understanding of plumbing and heating.
* Sales experience (desirable)
* Good customer service skills
* Clear communication and organised
