We have a great opportunity to join us as a Rent and Service Charges Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Rents and Service Charges team. The postholder will have responsibility for key routine tasks, be a point of contact to customers and in doing so deliver excellent customer service both internally as well as to residents and homeowners. We own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes. Requirements Outline of Key Responsibilities To deliver administrative support to the Rents and Service Charges team in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) including, but not limited to, completing CRM Cases and Tasks in CX (Housing Management system), by ensuring the Service Charges email inbox is well managed and queries responded to, and that team Voicemails are listened and responded to To review CX error exception reports, amend where appropriate and escalate any significant discrepancies to the Rent and Service Charges Accountant or Rent & Service Charge Manager for further investigation To support the Rents and Service Charges team with the annual rent review, calculation of service charge estimates and annual statements Responding to customer queries on their service charges, in line with corporate policy and relevant legislation. To carry out utility account management on both a monthly and quarterly basis, including obtaining meter reads, preparing the billing file, loading charges into CX, calculating usage and raising of charges, routinely preparing and posting journals to correct allocations in the finance ledgers To maintain a register of Managing Agent charges, logging and coding information received, proactively pursing charges which are due, and liaising with Finance and Housing Contracts team on any queries and arranging payment.
