Service Reception Manager required by my Main Dealer Motor Garage based in the Epsom area of Surrey.
Job Role – Service Reception Manager
Job Location – Epsom, Surrey
Salary upto £38,000
Hours: 45 hours per week
You will have previously worked in a similar role, such as a Service Manager, Front of House Manager, Workshop Controller, Service Reception Manager, or Senior Service Advisor.
* You will need to lead by example on a daily basis.
* Have an enthusiastic and passionate personality to drive and motivate your team.
* You will be expected to help resolve staff and customer concerns as they arise and take responsibility for hitting business objectives.
* To oversee all aspects of the Service Department operations in the absence of the service manager.
* To challenge and drive the performance of the front-of-house staff.
* Managing, coaching, and motivating employees to ensure high-quality staff.
* Assist with monitoring performance against agreed targets.
* Ensure correct completion of Vehicle Health Checks, upsell conversions, and follow-up of unsold, deferred work processes.
About You:
* Preferably a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Workshop Controller, Service Reception Manager, or Assistant Service Manager, with a successful track record or currently in a similar role.
* You will need to be a ‘leader’ of people and an ambassador for the brand and dealer group.
* Can demonstrate a stable career path.
* Capable of balancing a hands-on approach with managing the department when the Service Manager is unavailable.
