We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community on a full-time basis, starting Monday, 28th April 2025. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum alongside the class teacher, ensuring engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
* Provide targeted support to individual students and small groups to help them reach their full potential.
* Encourage the use of the Welsh language throughout the school day, supporting children in their Welsh language development.
* Foster a positive, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment for all students.
* Supervise and engage students during breaks and extracurricular activities as needed.
Essential Requirements:
* Fluent Welsh speaker – essential for supporting Welsh language learning and communication with students.
* Experience working with young children, especially within a Key Stage 1 setting, is highly desirable.
* Must have your own transport to and from the school.
* Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for working with children.
* A valid DBS check will be required.
