Summary: The Senior Event Hospitality Manager, responsible for delivering world-class hospitality experiences across a number of global events in the annual championship. This role combines strategic planning, operational excellence and premium guest service delivery across multiple hospitality tiers. Responsibilities: Strategic Event Management Lead the complete hospitality delivery for SailGP events, managing three distinct hospitality products: Adrenaline Lounge (Partner & Team VIP offering) Shoreline Villas/Suites (Premium corporate hospitality) Waterside Premium (Enhanced general hospitality) Own and manage event-specific hospitality budgets through Smartsheets and Netsuite Drive project management through Monday.com, ensuring alignment with SailGP's One Event Plan Support when required on key sponsor contract negotiations and lead on delivery, ensuring fulfillments of all hospitality-related contractual obligations and maintaining strong commercial relationships Operational Excellence Orchestrate end-to-end logistics including venue setup, accreditation, furniture, branding, catering, staffing, and transportation Select and manage local suppliers across all service categories Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards Collaborate with the Global Catering Manager on regional menu development and tastings Support additional guest experiences including Tech Base Tours & Guest Chaser programs Stakeholder Management Lead weekly event hospitality coordination calls Host regular meetings and serve as primary liaison for partnership managers, commercial, operations and other key stakeholders Manage a team of 15 event staff Coordinate with global and local teams across multiple time zones Guest Experience Ensure delivery of premium guest experiences across all hospitality tiers Implement proactive problem-solving and swift resolution of guest concerns Conduct post-event analysis and reporting to drive continuous improvement Key Expectations: Promotes SailGP Values and contributes to a positive culture Fosters a work environment where diversity is valued, respected, and celebrated through inclusive leadership Develop creative solutions that allow for quality work to be delivered Drive collaboration and team work within their team and amongst wider department recognising their personal impact and utilising this effectively Promote working practices that enable a healthy work life balance within the team and celebrate wellbeing Supports and displays out of the box thinking guiding this to align with SailGP's strategic objectives Support teams with developmental goals and growth plans utilising a coaching mindset to enable and empower Seizes opportunities to impact Better Sport, Better Planet Strives for the commercial sustainability of SailGP considering this at all parts of budget management Effectively presents with impact About You: Experienced in event management, with focus on premium sporting event hospitality Proven experience managing global virtual teams Demonstrated success in direct team leadership Expert project management and budgeting capabilities Outstanding stakeholder management and communication abilities Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure environments Strong cultural awareness and global working perspective Proficiency in Mac iOS, Google Suite, Monday.com, and SmartsheetsResults-driven with exceptional attention to detail Flexible approach to work hours, including evenings and weekends Passionate about sports and events Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills Location: SailGP HQ in London, United Kingdom with business t ravel to at least three SailGP events throughout the season.
