Job Description
Your duties will include:
* Project managing the delivery of a range of building refurbishment work and installations up to the value of c.£1m
* Preparing designs for capital works in accordance with technical specifications, policies and procedures
* Ensuring that all projects produce the required outcomes, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost
* Developing and implementing plans for project delivery, monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to take any changes into account
* Being responsible for day-to-day decisions relating to the management of the project including resources and skills required
* Implementing project controls, make recommendations on changes to the specifications, budgets and schedules to the Project Sponsor
* Overseeing works carried out by contractors and ensure works are being completed within the correct time schedule and budget
* Liaising regularly with stakeholders and attend progress meetings
The successful candidate should have:
* Specialist mechanical, electrical or building knowledge including legislation to degree level or equivalent work experience
* Experience of delivering minor projects from conception to completion
* Ability and experience in building strong working business relationships with a variety of stakeholders
