An SEMH school in The Wirral is looking for a full-time Receptionist to join their team immediately. This role requires proficiency in SIMS software and the ability to manage a busy front office with minimal training. Key Responsibilities Front Desk Management: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff, maintaining a professional and welcoming reception area. Communication Coordination: Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing inquiries efficiently to the relevant departments. Administrative Support: Perform a variety of clerical duties, including updating school records, scheduling appointments, and supporting daily operations. SIMS Expertise: Use SIMS software to manage student attendance, update data, and produce reports. Visitor Oversight: Monitor and maintain visitor logs while ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies. Team Support: Collaborate with teaching and administrative staff to assist with documentation, communication, and other administrative tasks. Resource Management: Coordinate the ordering of supplies, oversee deliveries, and manage inventory. Requirements Previous experience as a receptionist, ideally in a school environment. Proficiency in using SIMS software is essential. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle a fast-paced workload independently.
