Your Opportunity As a Security Architect – Senior Manager, you’ll act as a key member of the team, responsible for: Designing robust technical security solutions.
Developing architectural patterns and approaches for new technologies.
Leading technical engagements by collaborating with subject matter experts in Identity, Security Testing, Privacy, and more.
Advising clients on security policies and frameworks, ensuring solutions align with their requirements.
Each client engagement is unique, offering you the chance to tailor your expertise and adapt to diverse challenges.
Your responsibilities may include: Analysing clients’ security landscapes and creating solutions aligned with their policies and goals.
Explaining complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
Evaluating and implementing solutions from vendors to address client needs.
Recommending technical approaches and security controls that support client business objectives.
Conducting risk assessments, security audits, and gap analyses to identify vulnerabilities and remediation actions.
What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will demonstrate a combination of technical qualifications, practical experience, and a passion for excellence, including: Qualifications & Knowledge: Information Security certifications such as CISSP.
Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
Proficiency in architectural methodologies like TOGAF or SABSA.
Technical Skills: Experience as a Security Architect or similar role with a proven ability to design and implement security solutions.
Expertise in network security, encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
Knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, SIEM systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management tools.
Understanding of cloud security principles and practices (AWS, Azure, or Google).
Experience in DevSecOps, automated deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
Sector Experience: Familiarity with Government organisations, including handling assets classified under the Government Security Classification Policy.
Knowledge of defence and security-specific requirements, such as JSP 440 and Secure by Design principles.
