What you'll do You will play an integral role in delivering exciting PR campaigns and projects for Argos. Your responsibilities will involve acting as the PR lead for Argos, consulting with internal stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and develop effective PR plans. You will network effectively with Commercial and Marketing teams, draft press releases and statements, manage agencies, and oversee the execution of campaigns. Additionally, you will be responsible for measuring and communicating the results of your work against key performance indicators, managing budgets, building relationships with media contacts, and supporting reputation management efforts. As a seasoned communications professional, you will bring solid experience in consumer PR, project management skills, strong written and oral communication abilities, and a keen understanding of the changing media landscape. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong attention to detail, solution-seeking capabilities, and a passion for staying updated on lifestyle trends and competitor activities. Who you are You are an experienced professional with a strong background in consumer PR and a passion for delivering impactful campaigns. With 5-7 years of experience working with large consumer brands, either in-house or in an agency, you possess excellent project management skills and the ability to build and nurture relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Your solid contacts within the media industry, coupled with your strong written and oral communication skills, enable you to effectively draught press releases, manage agencies, and engage with press contacts. You are a solution-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a keen interest in lifestyle trends, influencers, and social media campaigns. With attention to detail and a firm grasp of the changing media landscape, you are able to successfully manage budgets, overcome obstacles, and deliver outstanding results.
