Job Role: HR Business Partner
Location: York (1-2 days from home)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000+ depending on exp. + 10% Bonus + Car Allowance
This exciting new HR Business Partner role will be based on a brand-new site in York. Our client, is an industry-leading Outsourcing company who operate in a variety of sectors. This role is part of their Immigration & Justice division and Business Partner a key division within the company that has been identified as a key focus for the business as a whole in terms of winning new bids, contracts and generating revenue.
This role reports to the People Director and will form a key part of the overall Business Strategy. There are no direct reports however, this will likely be part of the role as the workforce grows.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with Business Directors to design and implement professional and commercial people solutions.
* Provide counsel on escalated Employee Relations cases and advise on the best approaches.
* Collaborate with the wider HR community to ensure HR policies, initiatives, and procedures are fit for purpose and meet the business’s medium/long-term needs.
* Gain in-depth knowledge of financial and commercial aspects of contracts to inform People Plan priorities.
* Foster good working relationships with your Stakeholders to promote Engagement and better ways of working
* Actively monitor data on labour costs, employment relations, and sickness absence to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
* Agree on relevant action plans with Business Directors based on data insights and be able to work Strategically with the Head of People.
Ideal Candidate:
* Must have experience working on-site within the Justice & Immigration sector
* Proven experience in managing and driving HR initiatives in a fast-paced, complex environment.
* Experience of working with Trade Unions
* Strong ER experience including Employment Tribunal cases
* Able to work independently in a standalone capacity, collaborating with colleagues remotely
* Strong knowledge of HR Policy & Procedures relevant to Justice & Immigration
* Confident in communicating with Senior Stakeholders, CEO, Chair of the Board and giving Strategic Advice & Counsel
* Solid HR Generalist experience in all aspects of HR Business Partnering, including reward, employee relations, talent, succession planning, restructuring, and leadership development.
