As Governors, we believe in our school. It is well-loved and actively supported by our local community, due to the retirement of the current Headteacher we are looking to appoint an inspiring and dynamic leader, who is innovative, open and approachable. We wish to appoint someone who has the ability to adapt and differentiate to meet the needs of every pupil and member of staff in our small, caring and nurturing learning environment.

What the school offers its staff
Bassenthwaite Primary School and Little Ducklings Nursery is located in the beautiful village of Bassenthwaite in the Lake District National Park. The school provides our children with unique educational opportunities.
