This organisation is going through huge transformation and growth - with key projects ongoing to improve both their internal structure and external services.
The company is currently going through a huge SAP project, with the implementation of SAP functions across the whole company globally.
They are looking for a Non Functional Test Lead to join them on a 6 month contract, working on a hybrid basis (3 days per week on site, 2 days working from home).
Your new role
* Test Planning: Develop Non-Functional Test Plans for each deployment.
* Toolset Definition: Establish a common approach and tools for Non-Functional testing.
* Test Scope: Define scope for Performance Testing and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT).
* Effort Estimation: Estimate efforts and organize team for Non-Functional Tests.
* Alignment: Align Non-Functional Test Plans company strategies and deployment approaches.
* Test Procedures: Define procedures for Performance Test and Test Management tools (e.g., Solution Manager, Jira).
* Scenario Development: Create Performance Test Scenarios and schedule tests.
* Resource Management: Collaborate with partners to secure resources and monitor system performance.
* Disaster Recovery: Plan and coordinate DR exercises with relevant capabilities and service organizations.
* Risk Management: Manage Non-Functional risks and dependencies; communicate issues.
* Metrics Tracking: Produce metrics to track test progress and actions for plan maintenance.
* Closure Reports: Generate Non-Functional Test Closure Reports and secure sign-offs.
* Entry Criteria Communication: Work with program members to confirm readiness for Non-Functional Test phases.
* Compliance: Ensure all testing adheres to company quality and compliance standards.
* Team Development: Coach and mentor junior team members in a globally distributed environment.
* Collaboration Culture: Promote teamwork and stay updated on IT architecture.
* Change Advocacy: Advocate for and guide stakeholders in adopting new testing approaches.
* Requirements Clarification: Clarify and manage Non-Functional Requirements with stakeholders.
* Security Coordination: Work with Security and Infrastructure teams for compliance with security requirements.
* Network Assessment: Collaborate with local teams to assess network latency.
* Data Volume Management: Ensure sufficient data volumes for testing and utilize tools for data generation as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
* Extensive management of testing across the Test Delivery Lifecycle and within regulatory domains (GXP, SoX).
* Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
* Proficiency with Performance Test tools (e.g., LoadRunner, NeoLoad) and Test Management tools (e.g., Solution Manager, Jira).
* Familiarity with both on-premise (Apache JMeter) and cloud-based load generation tools.
* Experience with SAP and Non-SAP systems, and matrix management in global teams.
* Background in life sciences, healthcare, FMCG, or pharmaceuticals.
* Strong understanding of IT and cloud architecture, Computer System Validation (CSV), and Risk-Based Testing.
* Exposure to Continuous Integration (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins), Service Management, and monitoring tools.
