Essential Requirements:
* Understand the impact of violence and abuse on a person and offer a supportive and empathic response
* Experience and Knowledge of safeguarding adults and children
* Experience of responding calmly and effectively to people in crisis or emergency
* Be a skilled and able administrator and offer a full clerical and administrative service to the whole team
* Work with internal and external partners to advocate on behalf of all victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse.
The Role:
The SPOC Partner will be the first point of contact for people who wish to engage with the service, speaking with victims, survivors, their families, and other professionals and workers. The SPOC Partner will provide a full clerical, administrative and data collection service to the Paragon Service. The role supports the delivery of the integrated service and is the first point of contact for clients, professionals and others via the SPOC phone and email. The post holder will answer enquiries, take down referral information accurately and collate information from referrals and direct assessments. They will manage an online case management system, inputting accurate information which will inform contractual and stakeholder reporting requirements. At times they will also support the wider team with the delivery of the project and carry out allocated tasks such as attending court, co-facilitating groups and supporting clients to access refuge accommodation as directed.
