Are you an experienced and confident teacher looking for a rewarding role? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Year 1/2 Teacher to cover maternity leave in a Newcastle primary school. This role will begin in April 2025 and continue into the new academic year (September 2025).
Responsibilities:
1. Teaching a mixed Year 1/2 class
2. Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons
3. Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
4. Collaborating with staff to ensure a positive learning environment
Qualifications:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience teaching KS1 (Year 1 and/or Year 2)
3. Confidence in managing a mixed-age class
4. Ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons
