Independent Living Officer (Extra Care) 27,403.80 p.a. (37 hours) Community Based, in Preston What will you be doing in this role? As an Independent Living Officer (ILO) you will be based at one of our modern, purpose-built extra care sites in Preston but will also be required to work in the community and at our customers homes. You'll be responsible for delivering housing management support functions to older people living in our extra care settings. This role supports a holistic approach to independent living and you'll work closely with customers to ensure they have the best quality of life and are able to stay in their homes for as long as they can, through the provision of a service which is centred around the person and their wellbeing. What we are looking for: We are looking for someone who shares our values and puts customers at the heart of everything they do. It's important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience of working with older or vulnerable people in a customer facing role. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to assist with our Activities Programme. You will need to have a full driving licence and a vehicle insured for business use to be able to travel between sites.
