An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Nursing Associate to join our vibrant, forward-thinking practice. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the nursing team and will be responsible for participating in the delivery of high-quality patient care. We welcome applications from both newly qualified Nurse Associates and those with wider NHS/Primary Care experience. Ideally 20 hours per week the role is funded and jointly employed through our Primary Care Network but based in the surgery. Opportunities to work in the wider teams is possible if candidates may wish., Your primary responsibility in the practice is the delivery of practice nursing services, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within your scope of practice to our patient population. The nursing associate has a breadth of knowledge across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person-centred care and support for people of all ages. This role will assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education.

Working alongside our Lead Nurse Manager, three practice nurses, one other nursing associate and two GPA; youll have the chance to gain relevant treatment room experience or if already in primary care to expand your current skills. We are ideally looking for chronic disease experience or a willingness to learn.
The practice has 15,000 patients, and is at the forefront of new care models and network working. We have a strong ethos on continuous learning and offer training opportunities and clinical support together with an enthusiastic multi team approach to care. (Specialist nurse led clinics, urgent care team, health coaches, nursing associates, nurse training mentorship)
