Reception Duties: Manage the reception area, welcoming visitors and ensuring they are signed in and provided with necessary information. Meet and Greet: Greet employees and visitors with a professional demeanor, providing assistance as needed and ensuring a positive first impression. Staff Queries: Address and resolve staff inquiries related to security policies, procedures, and general information, ensuring effective communication. Incident Reporting: Document and report any incidents, safety hazards, or breaches of security, maintaining accurate records for follow-up. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, coordinating with emergency services as necessary. Surveillance Monitoring: Utilize security systems and cameras to monitor the premises, ensuring a proactive approach to security. Skills and Qualifications: Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, visitors, and emergency services. Computer Skills: Proficient in using computer systems for reporting, monitoring, and accessing security software. Customer Service Orientation: Strong focus on providing excellent service and maintaining a welcoming environment. Attention to Detail: Ability to observe and report details accurately and effectively. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to assess situations and respond appropriately. Must have a valid SIA Licence. Must have the right to work in the UK. Have a five-year check able employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period. Must be within a reasonable commuting distance.
