Job Title: Lead Commercial Manager - Engage at PLIANZ Location: Flexible (with occasional travel)

Role Overview: As Lead Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Engage. You will focus on safeguarding and expanding our existing client portfolio, acting as a key interface between clients and product management, and driving new business growth. This role is central to PLIANZ’s continued success in serving the public sector and other industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Retention & Growth
1. Foster and strengthen relationships with existing Engage clients, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term retention.
2. Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing accounts.
3. Mitigate potential risks to client satisfaction and retention.
Product Development Insight
1. Collaborate with clients to gather feedback, providing actionable insights to the product team to enhance Engage’s functionality.
2. Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for innovation.
3. Act as a customer advocate, ensuring the Engage platform evolves in line with client needs and market demands.
Business Development
1. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, focusing on expanding Engage’s presence in the public sector and beyond.
2. Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting to closing deals.
3. Build and deliver tailored pitches that demonstrate Engage’s value to potential clients.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. At least 5 years of experience in a commercial or account management role, preferably within SaaS, technology, or public sector-focused organizations.
2. Strong understanding of public sector operations and challenges, with experience addressing these through SaaS solutions.
3. Proven success in business development and client relationship management.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
