Equans is looking for a Facilities Manager to join our team in Rochdale on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
Reporting to the contract Account Manager, the Facilities Manager shall be responsible for the Total Facilities Management services provided to 3 schools across Rochdale.
Management responsibilities will include but not be limited to management and delivery of a wide range of technical services, remedial works, projects, contractual cleaning, waste management and general works including caretaking services.
What will you deliver?
* Ensures Compliance with all company programmes, processes and procedures.
* To lead and manage a service team providing a wide range of services, controlling costs and improving service, quality and growth of the contract.
* Supports the development of the contract to support the customer relationship.
* Delivers continuous measurement, development and retention of staff.
* Makes every effort to conserve energy and other utilities.
* Works to the site procedures and guidelines including client audit requirements.
* Ensure the wearing of all PPE.
* Implements a safe working environment that actively seeks to eradicate unsafe practices, accidents and injury.
* Responsibility for Profit and Loss Financial Management.
* Provide a management interface with the client’s management team to jointly develop the services and solutions.
* Conform to Health, Safety and Environment procedures of EQUANS and Client.
* Drive quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
* Deliver projects to the customers requirement and on time.
* Ensure minimum downtime to production on projects executed by EQUANS.
* Maintain stock levels on site.
* Management of and direct communication with the site team.
* Attend meetings with the client stakeholder team.
* Produce monthly data and accounts for invoicing.

Who are we looking for?
* Understanding of PFI
* Experience of full FM management.
* Experience of educational environments desirable.
* Line Management experience
* IOSH Certificates desirable.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels – both written & oral.
* A natural customer service delivery attitude always.
* Ability to work under pressure either in teams or individually.
* Flexible approach to working hours and travel.
* Personal, professional, presentable, flexible, approachable, efficient, self – motivated, able to motivate others.
