I am exclusively recruiting for an experienced Managing Director to join a rapidly growing care group. This role will be pivotal in leading the strategic direction and overseeing the growth of the business, focusing on commissioning, acquisitions, and ensuring exceptional care standards.
The company is on track to grow to 30 homes by the end of 2025, with multiple acquisitions and new builds in the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities of the Managing Director:
1. Strategic Leadership : Drive the strategic growth of the company, including overseeing acquisitions and new site openings.
2. People & Culture : Ensure the company’s People First approach is maintained, focusing on staff retention, development, and creating career pathways.
3. Quality Assurance : Oversee the delivery of high-quality care and services across all homes, ensuring regulatory compliance and exceeding industry standards.
4. Commercial Focus : Ensure financial sustainability and profitability, with a keen eye on the growth of privately funded residents and cost-effective management of resources.
5. Stakeholder Engagement : Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal (team) and external (investors, local authorities, partners).
6. Excellence in Care : Drive the vision of providing luxury, outstanding care to residents, ensuring high occupancy and low agency usage across the homes.
Ideal Candidate:
7. Proven MD experience within a care home group or a similar sector.
8. Extensive commissioning and acquisition experience, with a track record of growing a care home business.
9. Understanding of privately funded care and experience in high-quality, luxury care settings.
10. A natural people leader with excellent communication skills, able to inspire and develop teams.
11. A commercially driven individual with a passion for quality care and business growth.
12. Deep knowledge of the sector, with the ability to maintain high standards of care while growing the business.
