Prepworld are looking for a Warehouse Operative on Nights to coach and support the Stock Operative team, ensuring that fruit is unloaded from incoming lorries and allocated into appropriate chillers, and that it is picked and transferred for outbound loads. Ensure that incoming fruit is checked against the packing list, managing and escalating any discrepancies as required and communicating regularly with the Intake Quality Control team to ensure fruit is correctly transferred, stored and delivered. Main duties: Leading by example to ensure Stock Team targets are achieved while displaying Prepworld behaviours and values. Help to support the team of stock operatives, assisting in duties to make sure the complete their day by actively promoting Prepworld values and behaviours. Responsibility for ensuring that both you and your team operate at all times in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and in adherence to any relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures, ensuring safe use of facilities and equipment and providing a safe working environment for staff and visitors Duties include loading and unloading lorries, transferring fruit pallets into appropriate chillers, conducting checks to make sure the stock matches the intake control sheet, escalating any issues to the Supervisor as appropriate. Conduct daily stock count in chillers and facilities using the Electric Scanning Machines, ensuring Stock System is updated daily with relevant data. Count the number of boxes arriving, checking the information on arrival against the packing list. Produce and apply the pallet label to each pallet of fruit and accurately record the weight of each pallet using the electronic scales system. Allocate the appropriate fruit to the Team detailing the product, quality, location etc., making sure Production receive the required stock on time and in correct quantities and liaising with Stock team if any issues are identified. Complete and sign all delivery notes, updating any traceability labels if required and ensuring that the correct information regarding Seal Numbers, Seal intact or no seal are added to Drivers paperwork before allowing him to depart.
