Are you looking for a work-life balance? We are looking to recruit an experienced Social Work Practitioner to join our team of Independent Reviewing Officers.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Quality assuring the Care Planning and review process for children and young people who are looked after.
2. Chairing Child Protection Conferences.
3. Chairing a range of other meetings including Adoption Reviews, Secure Reviews, and Disruption Meetings.
4. Providing scrutiny, support, and challenge to Social Workers and managers, ensuring that care and protection plans are progressed in a timescale that meets the child’s needs.
You will need to have good communication skills and be able to engage effectively with families and other professionals, as well as manage and chair meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants need to be social work qualified and registered with Social Work England. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
