Payroll & HR Assistant
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: London (Hybrid working)

What you’ll be doing:
* Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, including salaries, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
* Handling payroll-related queries and ensuring compliance with tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
* Assisting with Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC and end-of-year payroll reconciliations (P60 issuance).
* Maintaining HR databases and employee records in compliance with GDPR and company policies.
* Supporting employee relations processes, including note-taking for investigations and disciplinaries.
* Coordinating training records and assisting with benefits management.
* Managing absence requests, parental leave applications, and employee reference checks.
* Generating reports and ensuring smooth communication between HR, payroll, and other departments.
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in payroll administration.
* Knowledge of UK employment law and payroll regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
