THE ROLE
AM London is a fast growing and ambitious retail business based in Old Trafford, Manchester.
We are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for building the weekly trade packs presenting to key stakeholders in trade meetings.
2. Analysing sales performance, suggesting actions to manage opportunities and risks.
3. Identifies stock replenishment opportunities considering forward forecasts and changes in demand.
4. Working across multiple sales platforms and managing relationships with partners.
5. Managing intake into the business and allocations to each platform in a timely manner.
6. Adhoc analysis and deep dives into performance to shape lessons learnt and forward strategy.
7. Pulls together daily sales files and provides a part week update.
8. Seeks rebuy opportunities on bestsellers working alongside buying and suppliers.
9. Uploads weekly sales files to Protex.
10. Takes ownership alongside buying counterpart to ensure product is live and shoppable on site and seeks to resolve any issues.
11. Seeks ways to improve efficiency of day-to-day responsibilities.
12. Works cross-functionally with buying, logistics, trading and marketing.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
1. +2 years minimum background in Merchandising.
2. Educated to degree level with a minimum 2.1 degree in Fashion or other related subject or equivalent practical attainment.
3. Experience working within a fashion brand.
4. Attentive to detail with the ability to think creatively.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Team player and able to build relationships.
7. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
8. To be able to deal with all challenges in a calm and positive manner.

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
