We serve a variety of care settings for clients with individual needs, including support for people with learning difficulties, complex care needs, mental health issues, dementia, and elderly care.
Role of a Homecare Worker
As a Homecare Worker, you will support clients holistically to promote their well-being and ensure a high quality of life. Responsibilities include companionship, administering medication, assisting with nutritional needs, and providing personal care in clients' homes. You will need to follow each client’s individual care plan.
What Nurseplus Offers
* Flexible shifts – full-time or part-time, days, nights, and weekends
* Minimum call length of 2 hours
* Pay rates from £13.75 to £17.15 per hour, paid weekly
* Free training aligned with the Care Certificate
* Ongoing support and development, including in-house courses and funded qualifications such as distance learning and NVQ Level 2 and 3
* Annual pay increases
* Eligibility to apply for a Blue Light card for discounts online and on the high street
Requirements for Homecare Workers
* You must be over 18 to apply
* Right to work in the UK
* Full UK Driving License (travel expenses covered up to 50p per mile)
* Good standard of English and effective communication skills
* Enhanced DBS check (cost of £45.40, refundable after a set period of employment)
