The Opportunity:
We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Investment Manager/Director to join our client's growing team. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact their portfolio’s development and play a key part in the firm's expansion in the coming years. The successful candidate will identify, evaluate, and manage robust investment opportunities, driving growth and value creation within their portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the identification and sourcing of potential investment opportunities through proactive market research, networking, and direct outreach.
* Play a critical role in the structuring and negotiation of investment deals.
* Coordinate with legal and financial advisors to ensure efficient transaction execution.
* Provide strategic and operational support to portfolio companies, helping them achieve their growth objectives.
* Prepare and present materials for board meetings and actively participate in board discussions.
* Conduct thorough market and industry research to stay ahead of trends, competitive dynamics, and uncover new investment opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience, ideally with a track record in the technology sector. Experience at a mid-senior level in UK lower mid-market private equity is highly advantageous.
* Exceptional financial modelling, analytical, and valuation skills.
* Proven ability to lead initiatives and manage projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
