Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Immediate Start)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a valid DBS on the Update Service for an immediate start at a large, vibrant mainstream school in the Widnes area. This is a full-time role where you will play a pivotal part in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Providing tailored support to students with SEND, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
2. Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
3. Supporting children with their academic, emotional, and social development.
4. Helping students manage their emotions and behaviors to thrive in a classroom setting.
About You:
1. You have a valid DBS on the update service, allowing you to start immediately.
2. You are passionate about working with children and committed to helping them achieve their potential.
3. Experience supporting children with SEND (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other needs) is highly desirable.
4. You are proactive, patient, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
