Job Title: Health & Safety / Fire Risk Assessor
Location: Bath, Somerset
Salary / Benefits: £30k - £45k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with an industry leading, multi-disciplined Health and Safety Consultancy who are seeking to take on a Health & Safety / Fire Risk Assessor in the South West region. You will be covering a mixed portfolio of longstanding client sites, undertaking Health & Safety / Fire Risk Assessments in line with client and company needs, ensuring to complete in-depth reports in a timely manner upon completion of risk assessment. This role would suit a candidate who is looking to join a forward-thinking and continuously growing company where they can expand professional qualifications.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. At a minimum, will hold a Level 3 fire qualification
2. Holding an industry recognised qualification such as NEBOSH general would be beneficial
3. Extensive experience working for an established provider of Health and Safety / Fire Safety services
4. Excellent knowledge of relevant PAS79 guidelines
5. Excellent IT skills
6. Good communication skills
7. Able to manage time efficiently, working to client and company timeframes
The Role:
1. Attending a mixed portfolio of sites carrying out type 1 / 3 Fire Risk Assessments on communal areas
2. Undertaking general Health and Safety Assessments
3. Undertaking compartmentation surveys
4. Providing training to new and existing employees and clients when required
5. Carrying out quality checks on Health and Safety / Fire reports
6. Creating in-depth Health & Safety / Fire Risk Assessment reports
7. Creating and providing advice on exit strategies
8. Regularly reviewing system processes and Health and Safety practices, ensuring they are up to date and accurate
9. Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice
10. Working in line with up-to-date relevant PAS79 guidelines
