The Role
A specialist role within the Technology department, combining knowledge of business architecture and business analysis. This role is a specialist working in a multi-disciplined team, alongside Business Design specialists in Architecture and Testing, delivering a unified business design capability.
The role is to ensure that business analysis delivers the most effective change, optimizing business processes and technological advancements.
Outcomes of the Role
* Provide depth of knowledge across business analysis, working closely with team members and other design specialisms.
* Lead complex business analysis, problem definition, requirements capture and documentation.
* Support Design Analysts in the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Motivate and support team members on business architecture and analysis activities.
* Support a culture of high-performance business analysis & innovation.
* Partner with design specialists to provide a holistic unified design team for product change.
* Identify opportunities for synergy, efficiency, and innovation.
* Establish Communities of Practice, focusing on BA practices.
* Contribute to overall architectural and business analysis support for many product changes and development.
* Contribute to the development, publishing, and promotion of Business design policies and standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Maintain open and effective communication with stakeholders.
* Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Process Improvement and Innovation
* Identify and implement process improvements.
* Promote the use of emerging technologies and methodologies.
Agile Methodologies
* Implement agile methodologies to enhance flexibility and responsiveness.
* Conduct regular stand-ups and retrospectives.
Professional Development
* Take responsibility for personal continuing professional development.
* Monitor and appraise the development & training needs of direct reports.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Strong understanding of wealth management products and services.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
* Proven record of producing quality technical requirements and documentation.
