This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified RMN/RNLD with managerial experience looking to take the next step in their career.
As the Deputy Hospital Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Hospital Director both clinically and operationally, overseeing the clinical team and ensuring the highest standards of car are being provided to all patients.
Key responsibilities of a Deputy Hospital Director:
1. Provide operational leadership in the delivery of highest quality Nursing Services.
2. To ensure systems are designed, implemented and monitored to ensure both efficient financial and clinical performance in the nursing department.
3. Advise, support and educate nurses in their areas of service delivery.
4. To set standards for the nursing services, reflecting and positively promoting the business of the hospital.
5. Maintain high profile leadership in areas of clinical governance as they impact on the nursing department.
6. Monitoring the impact of the Quality Improvement Strategy on the hospital’s business plan
7. Liaison with the Hospital Director and Operations Director re strategic planning of service developments.
8. Take part in and lead MDT meetings.
Deputy Hospital Manager Requirements:
9. Registered Nurse RNLD RMN/RMN
10. Budgetary and financial management
11. Project management
12. Managerial experience within the sector
